School Walk Through

Physical Development

We, at The Infinity School believe that along with academics, every child should take up one physical sports program and one creative program. Physical Sports and Creative Arts (Performing Arts or Visual Arts) help students and even adults remain physically active and stress free.

The school-age years are a time of steady growth and development. Staying physically active during this developmental phase will strengthen the fundamental skills needed to lead a healthy and active life as an adult. These skills include, but are certainly not limited to, agility, balance, coordination, concentration, teamwork and endurance. We aim to use sports as a vehicle to build strong character in our students. Sports learnt and practiced at the school are also intended to inculcate the value of sportsmanship, grit, deliberate practice and perseverance that contribute to the makeup of the right mindsets in students and adults.

Following structured programs will be run in the school from the very beginning:

  • Football: Run and managed by La Liga (Europe’s biggest football league which includes Real Madrid and FC Barcelona amongst other clubs). Trained coaches from La Liga India operations under the guidance and monthly monitoring of a foreign technical director will deliver these programs to our students. Students who show an inclination, potential and desired level of performance will get opportunities to go beyond school teams into higher levels. Our partners will also help develop sports careers of select students.

According to UEFA's league coefficient, La Liga has been the top league in Europe over the last five years and has led Europe for more years (13) than any other country. Its clubs have won the most UEFA Champions League (17), UEFA Europa League (10), UEFA Super Cup (14), and FIFA Club World Cup (6) titles, and its players have accumulated the highest number of (FIFA) Ballon d'Or awards (19).

  • Badminton:Structured Program run by Prakash Padukone Badminton Academy. Prakash Padukone – the biggest name in Indian badminton, provides students an opportunity to learn the game through training modules, especially designed by Prakash Padukone and his team of expert badminton trainers. The curriculum follows the global badminton standards with a special focus on the needs of young Indian badminton enthusiasts through the knowledge and experience of Prakash Padukone. This program is a stepping stone to greater success in the sport, offering a unique Badminton training experience.

Other sports facilities that will be offered in the school from the first session will be Table Tennis, Lawn Tennis, Taekwondo, Karate and Track & Field.

Basketball, Swimming and Archery will most likely be introduced from the 2021-22 session.
